DMCA Policy

AddressInNet respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on AddressInNet, you may notify us by providing the following information in writing:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative;
  • Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed;
  • Identification of the material that you claim is infringing and where it is located on the website;
  • Information reasonably sufficient to permit AddressInNet to contact you, such as your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, AddressInNet will promptly remove or disable access to the infringing material and take reasonable steps to notify the user who posted the material. AddressInNet may also terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that the material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with AddressInNet. The counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature;
  • Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and where it was located before removal or disablement;
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification; and
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, AddressInNet will forward it to the original complainant and restore the removed material within 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant files an action seeking a court order against the material.
